Developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, NALscribe addresses the challenges posed by facemasks, social distancing, and protective screens on everyday communication. These difficulties can lead to anxiety, frustration, and isolation, especially for individuals with hearing loss.
Our goal was to create a solution that not only improves communication but is also accessible and easy to use. NALscribe is a free mobile app designed specifically to bridge the communication gap for individuals with hearing loss, promoting wider hearing accessibility and inclusivity for all.
